Childcare Vouchers - Will I lose Them All?

Back in April 2020 I had £500 of childcare vouchers saved, then lockdown hit.
My employer allowed me to work from home and childcare was not needed, so I lowered my vouchers to just £1 per month so I didn't lose the entitlement.
Now some 14 months later I am still home working with a return later this year.
During this time though my youngest who I was paying childcare for no longer needs it.
So, I will not need childcare vouchers anymore but have £500 of then still unspent.
Will I just lose these vouchers as I have no need to use them anymore and lose out on £500?

You need to check your your agreement with the voucher company.
Some do allow repayment but it must be paid back through your employer so he needs to agree to it. Not all payroll systems are able to process these repayments so you need to ask your employer,0
