Ex wife went bankrupt

Hi all my ex wife went bankrupt in 2019, I found out she had been gambling and owed over £100k we split up and she went bankrupt without telling me… anyway I made an offer to buy the equity in the house which was accepted and I finally paid off in July 2020 and the charge was removed from the title deeds. My main issue is that I can’t get her off the bloody mortgage as when I left her she didn’t pay the mortgage in full and when she left the house I moved back in and made arrangements to pay the arrears on the mortgage and secured loan.
I’m now completely up together with the payments and have been for 8 months or so.
my problem (and I don’t know if this is even the right place to ask) is NatWest won’t remove her due to my credit score so I am literally stuck with her on a mortgage that she pays sod all on and hasn’t since Oct 2019.

Does anyone have any advice? I can’t remortgage due to my crap credit record so I am stuck with her on my house unless I sell (don’t want to do that and wouldn’t get another mortgage anyway) I have taken NatWest to the ombudsman doubt I will win but was all I could think of doing as literally I’m a prisoner.
our divorce is due to go through in 4 weeks as we have been granted a decree nisi.
again sorry if this is the wrong forum I just didn’t know where to post.

I think you’d be better off asking the question on the mortgage board.0

Do you have a financial settlement sorted as part of the divorce, to at least prevent your ex accruing a share of the future equity in the house? If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0
