Claiming NHS Pension

My wife is a member of the 1995, 2008 and 2015 sections, and is planning on retiring from the NHS within the next few months, age 62.

Attempting to complete Form AW8, she's wondering if it is in order to check the boxes for claiming under all three sections, even though she is only eligible for payments under the 1995 scheme at this time.

She doesn't want to claim early reduced payments under the 2008 and 2015 shcemes, just for them to start paying out at NRA without her having to do any further form filling at later dates.

Grateful if anyone can clarify if this is ok or not.

No, she should not ask to be paid the benefits under each scheme until she is ready to receive them. She will need to complete further AW8 forms to receive her benefits under the other schemes.
The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.

If you have a look at https://www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk/sites/default/files/2017-03/AW8 - Employers Guide for completion (V6) 11.2015.pdf you'll see that the employer has to jump through any number of hoops when completing their bit of the form. No chance at all they could conflate all 3 schemes, with different retirement dates, on the one form!
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!
