Maintenance payments

Hi, if your child wants to start working now  has finished a college course and doesn’t want to go to university in sept, is 18 yrs old when do the payments stop. Thankyou

    Child benefit stops either 31st May or 31st Ausgust if continuing in full time education. As your child isn't conituing in full time education and has now offically left then payments should stop. If you're claiming child benefit/tax credits you should report the changes.
