    May be worth looking for a second-hand one - they really do last for decades. The Bay of E seems to have quite a few averaging about £35 plus postage
    Totally agree, they are complete work horses. Not pretty, not elegant but they come with so many accessorises - Food processors, liquidisers, mum even had a cream maker for this one, think its in the attic still

    Warning, though: I had the Kenwood Patissier, and it was NOT up to the job! It left lumps, and did not quite get to the bottom of the bowl. Even with customer service help, it did not improve.
