I am being made redundant on the 1st May next year, I am being paid 82K which 30K will be redundancy and 52K am agreed bonus payment.
The question is can I salary sacrifice 40K into my pension for 2022/3 tax year and just pay tax on 12K
regards

Is the 30k redundancy the redundancy payment or the total of the redundancy package?
Just you've only mentioned redundancy and bonus....no notice/pilon, holiday pay etc.
Also will no payments have been made to your pension at that point? You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
