I cannot provide 3 full months of bank statements - what do I do?

I have given over statements from my accounts however there are 3 other accounts where I have only used them in March.
The bank I am with cannot give me 3 separate statements starting from 1st of the months-end of the months, as I've only used the account from 1st-26th march. February & April I've not used it. They can't even give me blank statements online to prove I at least own the account.

Our mortgage broker said it was most important to get these statements but what do I do if the bank itself aren't giving it to me?
Is there any other document that I can use instead?

Would your mortgage broker not know what alternatives there are? That’s what you pay them for.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

    Natwest & savings

I managed to talk to a telephone agent who said they can order me bank statements and said that they can provide the statements but some with blank statements to which I see that it's fine as it's proof that I haven't used that account. I just hope it'll come out correct as I requested the same thing Thursday, was told my statements will be 1st-end of month but they weren't so couldn't use them.

I was on the phone to 4 different people and spoke to 3 different online agents and only 1 said they can do it without question and didn't say that there's an issue due to no payments...i was a bit annoyed because the other agents told me differently.

Apparently they told my husband it HAS to be 3 months and nothing else. Like this was a firm "we cannot accept anything less than this" sort of tone that they had with my hubs. I wasn't on the phone & no correspondence with the broker due to my work having a no-phone policy so it falls to my husband.

The bank I'm with and a few others gave me alternatives but I had to say No due to this.

Many accounts don't run on a 1st of the month to the last day basis.
Is the requirement being communicated to you correctly?
Why do you think you need three separate statements rather than just one or more statements which together cover 3 (or more) months?

I saved PDF statements and transaction reports when applying for my mortgage, didn't have any reason to wait for them as it was all available through online banking.

Statements were 3 months and transaction reports covered the period from the last statement to the day I did the PDFs.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.

I'm actually not sure, due to work I have to leave things to my husband.
I 'think' I need 3 separate statements rather than one because this is exactly how it was communicated to me, and my hubs is very 'to facts' with things so this is what had been said to him. I was told very strictly that it mustn't be squashed together and that it is a must that these are separate.

I argued saying my bank are 3 months in one PDF but sort of caused a lot of stress between us both.

  • Updates
    • My statements came back from Yesterday's phone call, again all squished so we're now just not gonna argue with each other and just send what I have
    • Sent docs to hubs, hubs now sent to Mortgage Broker
