I agree with the mail redirection thing, but just thought I'd mention that when I moved I updated my address details on my credit files and a few weeks later received a letter from PRA who hold 2 of my UE accounts direct to my new address.  I had put a mail redirection in place anyway, but they obviously check or get alerts when address details change.

Finally got an update from Court today, but didn't quite understand it, so after 30 minutes on hold I got to speak to an actual human being!

They haven't heard from Dryden Fairfax so the judgement has been stayed since the 5th of July. Apparently though they have 6 months from the 6th June (as to when they could reasonably be expected to receive my defence) to get in contact with the Court to carry on. Otherwise they would have to put a formal request the the Court to pursue.

I thought that they had to put a formal request to lift the stay, irrespective of a 6 month windo , but not according to the lady I spoke to.

She asked as to whether I had heard from DF and I said no, which she thought odd.

She has advised me, considering that it's been 2 months in the the 6 to apply to have the matter withdrawn completely, but that this would cost upwards of £250.

Unsure as to how to play it now. Also means that checking Money claim online is completely pointless as it doesn't mention the stayed judgment whatsoever.

Any thoughts?

Whether they want to resurrect this is up to them but it appears that they are not going to do that in a hurry.
