Are There Loan Advisors?

Is there such a thing as a Loan Advisor, similar to a Mortgage Advisor? Without going into details, and without lying per se, answers for some questions for me could differ (I'm very recently seperated but still married and between properties that I have been associated with for some time) and I'd like to know the best 'answers' to get a loan. Would I just speak to a financial advisor?
Thanks

  • Paying someone to get a loan is silly, the best answer is the honest one, they can ask you to prove anything you put on there
