Specific Rules

 

1.         The Motorpoint Roadtrip promotion (‘Promotion’) is organised by Global (as defined in the General Terms and Conditions). The Promotion will run from 27th May 2021 to 23rd June 2021 on Heart Scotland, Essex, South Wales, North West, Cambridgeshire and Capital Birmingham, Yorkshire, East Midlands and North East.

 

2.         IMPORTANT: The Promotion is subject to these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions which are available here for Heart & here for Capital. Entry into the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions.

 

Details of the Promotion:

 

3.         To enter the Promotion, you must go online to the Promotion entry page at www.heart.co.uk or www.capitalfm.com register your details and submit an answer to the multiple-choice question provided.

 

4.         Online entry will open at 00:01 on 27th May 2021 and close at 23:59 on 23rd June 2021. Entries received before or after this time will not be included in the Promotion.

 

5.         Within 28 days of the closing time of the Promotion, all eligible entries will be entered into a draw. One correct entry will be selected at random and the winning entrant will be contacted by one of our representatives via telephone on the telephone number on which you entered. If such winner does not respond within 28 days from being contacted, they will forfeit their right to the prize and we shall be entitled to select another winner by another random draw. That subsequent winner must respond to the notification email within 14 days of the date on which they are notified, or they will also forfeit the prize.

 

6.         We and the prize provider and Motorpoint Limited may publish and publicise your name, image, social media handle and/or profile picture and your entry, and we may refer to your and any applicable third party’s (for example a guest/travel companion association with the Promotion and/or the prize, in any and all media, worldwide, in perpetuity, for publicity and PR purposes solely in connection with the Promotion.

 

7.         In relation to winners (and runners up if applicable), you understand that we and our Promotion Partners may: (i) interview you and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) which we may film, photograph and/or record and; (ii) film, photograph and/or record, you and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) in connection with the Promotion, either by telephone or in-person, and we may use such films, recordings and/or photographs for publicity and PR purposes in any and all media, worldwide, as often and for as long as we consider appropriate or desirable, in connection with the Promotion. We may also publish your and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) name, image, social media handle and/or profile picture.

 

Eligibility:

 

8.         The Promotion is only open to residents of the UK aged 18 and over, and who are based in the UK at the time of entry. Winners must be within the United Kingdom at the time of entering the competition.

 

9.         Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Promotion.

 

10. To qualify for the hire of a Motorpoint car you must have a valid UK driver’s license. You may be asked to prove this at the point of hire. Entrants must be 18 or over.

11.       Winning entrants will receive an option to choose one of four prizes. The T&Cs for each prize can be found below from the NDL group.

 

ADVENTURE ROAD TRIP:

·       Motorpoint Car hire for the duration of your trip

·       Return travel for four people to Snowdonia

·       2 Nights accommodation for four people in a luxury safari tent at Llechwedd Slate Caverns

·       Breakfast pack for four people each morning. Includes:

·       Juice, Milk, Cereal, Croissants, Jam, Marmalade, Butter & Bread

·       BBQ pack for four people on one evening. Includes:

2. Car hire will be provided by Motorpoint. Terms and conditions will apply.

3. Your prize includes a petrol allowance so you can travel to the prize location. The allowance covers a round trip of a maximum 500 miles. If you live further than this from the prize location, the petrol allowance will be provided to you as a contribution towards your travel expenses.

4. You will be staying in a luxury safari tent based on 4 people sharing on a self-catering basis. Reservations are subject to availability at the time of booking.

5. Contents of the breakfast and BBQ packs may vary.

6. Quarry Karting lasts 2 hours in total with 2 runs approximately 5 minutes each and is subject to availability at the time of booking. Minimum weight to participate is 30kg, maximum weight is 120kg. Minimum height is 1.3m, maximum height is 2.1m. Minimum age is 15 years.

7. Velocity 2 lasts 2 hours in total and is subject to availability at the time of booking. Minimum weight to participate is 30kg, maximum weight is 120kg. Minimum height is 1.2m, maximum height is 2.1m. Minimum age is 10 years.

8. All prizes must be claimed and booked by the prize winner within 12 months from the date of our initial correspondence with them.

 

FAMILY ADVENTURE ROAD TRIP:

·       Motorpoint Car hire for the duration of your trip

·       Return travel for two adults and two children to Staffordshire

·       2 Nights accommodation for two adults and two children at one of the Alton Towers Hotels

·       Breakfast for two adults and two children in the hotel restaurant each morning

·       Dinner for two adults and two children in the hotel restaurant on one evening

·       Entrance for two adults and two children into Alton Towers

1. Your prize is subject to availability at the discretion of NDL Travel and excludes bank holidays, Valentine’s day/weekend and school holiday periods, specifically the Christmas holidays, summer holidays, spring and autumn half terms and Easter.

5. Your dinner in the hotel restaurant is based on two adults and two children enjoying a three-course meal from the a la carte menu and the children’s menu respectfully, including one beverage per person.

6. Park opening times vary throughout the year. Height, age and health restrictions may apply. Children should be under the ages of 15.

7. All prizes must be claimed and booked by the prize winner within 12 months from the date of our initial correspondence with them.

4. You will be staying in a 4* hotel, sharing a double room with an en-suite bathroom on a bed and breakfast basis. If you’d prefer a twin room, we will do what we can to secure this for you, but it cannot be guaranteed.

5. Your afternoon tea is subject to availability at the time of booking. Contents of the menu may vary.

6. Spa treatments are subject to change and availability at the time of booking. Some treatments may not be suitable for people with certain medical conditions and will be substituted for a safe alternative should this be the case. Hot stone massage will last approximately 25 minutes. Facial of the winner’s choice will last 55 minutes per person.

7. All prizes must be claimed and booked by the prize winner within 12 months from the date of our initial correspondence with them.

 

MUSIC ROAD TRIP:

E-gift card may only be used for purchases in the United Kingdom, online at www.ticketmaster.co.uk or by telephone on 0844 847 1640, for tickets to participating events taking place in the UK and other event-related products. E-gift card expires after 12 months.

6. ASOS e-gift cards can be redeemed against purchased on asos.com and will expire 2 years from the date of receipt.

7. Your meal will be based on four adults enjoying a 2-course meal from the a la carte menu excluding drinks. All restaurant reservations are subject to availability at the time of booking. You may choose any restaurant you would like to dine in with the exception of restaurants holding Michelin stars.

8. All prizes must be claimed and booked by the prize winner within 12 months from the date of our initial correspondence with them.

 

12.       Any other costs and expenses which are not specifically included in the prize description are excluded and will be the sole responsibility of the winner.  By way of example, without limitation, travel to and from adventure parks is not included within the prize.

 

13.       The prize is non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available except at our sole discretion.

 

14.       We reserve the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value at our absolute discretion.

Data Protection:

 

16.        Your personal data, and the personal data of any guest(s)/travel companion(s) that you or they provide to us, will be collected and processed by us, our licensees (including Communicorp UK Limited and Quidem Limited), Motorpoint Limited, as well as the prize providers, and if applicable, our service providers, network operators and suppliers in order to administer and fulfil the Promotion. Your personal data may also be disclosed to the Phone-paid Services Authority, Ofcom and/or the Advertising Standards Authority at their reasonable request for regulatory purposes, for example, in order to prevent, investigate and detect crime, fraud or anti-social behaviour and comply with law enforcement agencies and applicable advertising codes.  

 

17.       We may hold your personal data for a period of 2 years in order to comply with our regulatory obligations.

 

18.       You may be asked if you want to opt-in to marketing from us or our Promotional Partners when you enter a Promotion. If you choose to opt-in, we and/or our Promotional Partners (as applicable) will use your personal data for marketing purposes (see our Privacy Policy for more details). You can opt-out at any time.

 

19.       We, the Promotion Partners and the prize providers may transfer and process personal data outside of the EEA and UK for the purposes of administering the Promotion.

 

20.       By entering a Promotion, you acknowledge that any personal data provided by you in connection with the Promotion will be processed as set out above and in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which sets out full details of how we process personal data and how you can exercise your rights as a data subject. Please ensure you have read and understood our Privacy Policy before entering any Promotion.

 

21.       You may request the removal of your personal details from our database by contacting privacy@global.com. If you request that your personal details be removed prior to the conclusion of a Promotion, you will forfeit your right to enter the Promotion and/or claim any prize and we reserve the right to select another entrant to participate in the Promotion or withdraw the prize and select another winner, as applicable.

 

22.       If you are required to submit a guest(s)/travel companion(s) personal data to enter a Promotion, you must ensure that your guest(s)/travel companion(s)  have given you consent to provide us with their personal data.
