‘Penguin Books: Agent Sonya Promotion’ on Classic FM - May/June 2021- Specific Rules.

1.             The ‘Penguim Books: Agent Sonya Promotion’ (‘Promotion’) is organised by Global (as defined in the General Terms and Conditions). The Promotion will run from Thursday 27th May 2021 to Wednesday 2nd June 2021 onthe Classic FM Network.

2.             IMPORTANT: The Promotion is subject to these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions which are available here. Entry into the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions.

Details of the Promotion:

3.         To enter the Promotion, you must go online to the Promotion entry page at www.classicfm.com , register your details and submit an answer to the multiple choice question provided. 

4.         Online entry will open at 00:01 am on Thursday 27th May 2021 and close at 23.59 on Wednesday 2nd June 2021. Entries received before or after this time will not be included in the Promotion.

5.         Within 7 days of the closing time of the Promotion all eligible entries will be entered into a draw. One correct and elegible entry will be selected at random and the winning entrant will be contacted by one of our representatives via telephone or email on the details on which you entered. If such winner does not respond within 28 days from being contacted, they will forfeit their right to the prize and we shall be entitled to select another winner by another random draw. That subsequent winner must respond to the notification email within 7 days of the date on which they are notified, or they will also forfeit the prize. 

6.          We, Penguin Books and the prize provider may publish and publicise your name and your nearest geographical location and we may refer to your association with the Promotion and/or the prize, in any and all media, worldwide, in perpetuity, for publicity and PR purposes solely in connection with the Promotion.

7.         In relation to winners (and runners up if applicable), you understand that we and Penguin Books may: (i) interview you and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) which we may film, photograph and/or record and; (ii) film, photograph and/or record, you and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) in connection with the Promotion, either by telephone or in person, and we may use such films, recordings and/or photographs for publicity and PR purposes in any and all media, worldwide, as often and for as long as we consider appropriate or desirable, in connection with the Promotion. Eligibility:

8.       The Promotion is only open to residents of the UK aged 18 and over, and who             are based in the UK at the time of entry. 

9.         Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Promotion.

Prize:

10.    One winning entrant will receive the following prize which is valid for two adults  aged 18 years old or over. 

10.1          Return travel for two adults to the Cotswolds in the form of a petrol allowance of £100 

10.2          2 Nights accommodation for two adults at The Fish Hotel 

10.3          Breakfast for two adults each morning in the hotel restaurant

10.4          Tispy Tea for two adults in the hotel restaurant. 

Prize Terms and Conditions:

11.       NDL is the prize provider for this Promotion

12.       Travel is subject to availability at the discretion of NDL Travel and is available from dates from September 2021, excluding July and August, bank holidays, Valentine’s Day/weekend, and school holiday periods, specifically the Christmas, Summer, Spring and Autumn half term and Easter holidays. Must be booked at least 6 weeks in advance. 

13.       Your prize includes a petrol allowance of £100 so you can travel to the prize location, and covers a round trip of maximum 300 miles. If you live further than this from the prize location, the petrol allowance will be provided to you as a contribution towards your travel expenses.

14.       You will be staying in a 4* hotel (The Fish Hotel), sharing a double room with en-suite bathroom on a bed and breakfast basis. If you’d prefer a twin room, we will do what we can to secure this for you, but this cannot be guaranteed.

15.       The contents of the afternoon tea are as follows: Tipsy Tea for two people in the hotel restaurant that includes:

              - Savoury: Crab, prawn & crème fraiche puff, Smoked Salmon and Parmesan Tart, Horseradish, Welsh Rarebit, Beetroot Chutney

              - Sweet: Pineapple tipsy cake (to share), Chocolate, passion fruit, seaweed, Blackberry, liquorice, custard macaroon, fruit and plain scones, strawberry jam, clotted cream

              - 1 x Tea infused cocktail: Marzipan Mule, Chocolate Brownie Punch, White Tea Fizz OR Tea-total (non-alcoholic)

             - 1 x Hoogly loose leaf tea English Breakfast, Early Grey, Darjeeling, lemon & ginger, classic green, chill out mint, cosy chamomile, jasmine dawn, spice, orange, Danish Pastry, apple strudel, vanilla, chai, chocolate brownie, around the fire, marzipan

16.    The contents of the afternoon tea may vary and reservations are subject to availability at the time of booking.

17.       Any other costs and expenses which are not specifically included in the prize description are excluded and will be the sole responsibility of the winner.  By way of example, without limitation, travel around the Cotswolds once you’ve arrived, is not included within the prize.

18.       The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable. No cash alternative is available except in our sole discretion.

19.       We reserve the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value at our absolute discretion.

Your personal data may also be disclosed to the Phone-paid Services Authority, Ofcom and/or the Advertising Standards Authority at their reasonable request for regulatory purposes, for example, in order to prevent, investigate and detect crime, fraud or anti-social behaviour and comply with law enforcement agencies and applicable advertising codes.   

24.       We may hold your personal data for a period of 2 years in order to comply with our regulatory obligations. 

25.       You may be asked if you want to opt-in to marketing from us or our Promotional Partners when you enter a Promotion. If you choose to opt-in, we and/or our Promotional Partners (as applicable) will use your personal data for marketing purposes (see our Privacy Policy for more details). You can opt out at any time. 

26.       We, the Promotion Partners and the prize providers may transfer and process personal data outside of the EEA and UK for the purposes of administering the Promotion.
