The UK’s only Americana and country music festival is BACK! Which promises once again to be all kinds of swing jive and Texas Two Stepping Cool! Black Deer will take place on Fri 25, Sat 26 and Sun 27 June 2021 in Eridge Park, Britain’s oldest deer park, on the Kent/East Sussex border near Tunbridge Wells (just 50 minutes by train from London to nearby Tunbridge Wells station).

To sum it up this festival celebrates the best of a bygone rural age and way of life. It’s all about enjoying the simplicity of the natural world around us – think ‘authentic’ and ‘returning to our roots’.

The festival features multiple stages dedicated to music; the finest Live Fire food (including classic American smokehouse BBQ, innovative techniques, creative recipes, oh and whiskey). Plus there’s motors  – showcasing all the best mean machines from classic American trucks to custom vintage motorcycles – and you get to try out riding a motorcycle (thanks to Harley-Davidson’s Jumpstart rider experience).

There’s traders offering authentic wares from quality textiles and original printed posters to bespoke hand forged ironworks and heaps of stuff for young folk (there’s loads of children’s activities as it’s a family friendly affair).

This year features a stellar lineup of established and new Americana, country, blues, folk and bluegrass artists.
