What is your position regarding state pension?

It is just possible that if you can obtain a full NI history, some light may be thrown on the occupational pension situation.0 -
So the one who has swopped pension provider you can go to either the employers HR depatment or the previous pension provider should be able to tell you who they transferred the pension too (been there done that and used both routes). For the employer who has gone into liquidation if you search the internet you should be able to find out who the insolvency practitioner was, sometimes called administrators, and either should be able to advise you however when I contacted an administrator of a company that owed me money they try and put people off by saying there are no funds available. If they won't give you the info you need to issue a freedon of information request which they have to comply with. Details of how to issue a Freedom of Information request are readily available on line and it is easy to do.Valma1 said:i have recently retired and have 2 employer pensions I can’t access. The administrator (or in this case the liquidator, since OP says the company has been liquidated) of a company doesn't deal with winding up the pension scheme, always assuming it was a company (occupational) scheme rather than a group personal pension or similar. If it was a defined benefit scheme and the scheme is in deficit, it is for the trustees of the scheme to deal with the insolvency practitioner, who will (correctly) decline to deal with pension scheme members.SSTJCKel said:

Freedom of Information only relates to public authorities, so no point at all putting in a FOI request if it was a private company. Think you're confusing it with a Subject Access Request - but as OP left the company some years ago, there is no reason why the company would still hold any information (certainly not now the company has been liquidated) - GDPR would kick in.Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0
