Is this conveyancer pretty basic and straight forward, hoping to complete in 5 weeks from offer received yesterday

I think so yes. I had to use them with a remortgage years ago with Leeds I think and they took forever, to the point my broker successfully claimed compensation from them (they were free) as we ended up going onto the current lenders standard variable rate for a few months.0

We have just completed our remortgage through Halifax and Optima and Optima were really very good to deal with and sorted the paperwork out quickly and efficiently.
We had heard some horror stories about them but actually in our case they were really very good and we had no hold ups or hitches. It was a very straight forward remortgage though.0
