TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “Wickes & KISSTORY –May Features” (the “Competition”). These terms should be read with our general competition terms at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html which also apply to this Competition.

 

1.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN	Wickes KISSTORY May Feature Competition: Pre-Registration Anyone interested in taking part in this competition must register their interest on the online competition page which includes agreeing to these terms and conditions. Refer to Section 1 for entry routes. The on-air entrants for this competition will be picked from all entrants at random during each competition week from those who those persons who successfully answered the online questions correctly.   Registering to take part in this competition does not provide any guarantee that you will come on-air or win a prize.   Shortlisting and being invited to play the game Each week the KISS Radio production team will randomly select an entrant from the pre-registered entries, drawn by random electronic draw.   Week 1 Competition: The shortlisted entrant will be selected at 9am on 27/05/2021 and will be called before 12pm to organise the call where the game will be played Week 2 Competition: The shortlisted entrant will be selected at 9am on 03/06/2021 and will be called before 12pm to organise the call where the game will be played   The KISS Radio production team will contact the shortlisted entrants to check their availability to play the game, with a time and date in which the game will take place. The entrants will be requested to reply by a certain time to register their interest and confirm their availability for the next phase. If the entrant cannot make the time or does not answer the call another entrant will be selected.   The Game  During a call whose timing will be discussed during the shortlisting stage an entrant will have a call withKISSTORY presenter Tinea (“the presenter”) and will be asked to play the game ‘help Tinea fix the decks!’ to win the prize. The entrant will be played an audio clip of a KISSTORY playlist track that has been distorted. Tinea (“the presenter”) will ask the entrant to identify the track name and artist. If the entrant answers correctly they will win the prize.   The KISS Radio production team reserve the right to choose another contestant from the shortlist if they are unable to contact you at the time the game recording is taking place.   The competition will air on KISSTORY during Tinea’s (“the presenter”) show between 1300 and 1500 on the following dates:   Week 1 Competition: The competition will be broadcast on 28/05/2021 Week 2 Competition: The competition will be broadcast on 04/06/2021   The competition pre-registration will open on 24th May 2021 at 00:01 and will close at 09:00 on 3rd June 2021. All entries will be pooled and can be selected for any of the competitions within the competition period.
2.Entry Platforms and Costs	Online pre-registration: Online at kissfmuk.com or planetradio.co.uk/kiss     Only entry route is free.
3. DATES	Online pre-registration Start Date and End Date. From 24/05/2021 at 00:01 until 03/06/2020 at 09:00   The competition will air on KISSTORY during Tinea’s (“the presenter”) show between 1300 and 1500 on the following dates and the pre-recorded call will take place each week before these dates at a time discussed between the KISSTORY producer and shortlisted entrant during the shortlisting period.   Week 1 Competition: The competition will be broadcast on 28/05/2021 Week 2 Competition: The competition will be broadcast on 04/06/2021   Entries received before the Start Date or after the End Date will be invalid.   The winner details are available by contacting win@bauermedia.co.uk
4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS	Open to UK residents Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, incl. the Prize Provider, must not enter.
5. THE PRIZE	Prize: There will be four winners during the competition who will win 1 x £250 Wickes Gift Card   Week 1 Winner: For the competition winner broadcast on 28/06/2021 they will win 1 x £250 Wickes Gift Card Week 2 Winner: For the competition winner broadcast on 04/06/2021 they will win 1 x £250 Wickes Gift Card    Use of a false name will result in disqualification.   The Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and there is no cash alternative. Wickes reserves the right to substitute the Prize with one of equal or greater value at any time. Any changes to the prize draw will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by Wickes. Entrants who sign up to the Wickes marketing can opt out at any time. All marketing content which is sent to entrants will have an opt-out link within the content.   The Prize is provided by Wickes and we are not responsible for any aspect of the Prize, including unsatisfactory quality or late delivery.

1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONSENTS. This means that we may use all names, images, descriptions, photographs video footage, and other information, which you’ve submitted on entry, in any media, without paying you and without any time restriction. You also agree that we may film, record or photograph you in connection with the competition and /or the Prize (if you win!). We will own these films, recordings or photographs and we may use them publicly, including on the internet, for our radio broadcasts and/or for any promotional purposes. You will also have waived any moral rights or right to payment that you may have had.

 

1. MISCELLANEOUS.
   1. Entries that don’t comply with these terms won’t be accepted and you may be disqualified if we think you’ve breached them.
   2. Participants cannot enter more than once
   3. If there is a dispute about the operation of the Competition or correctness of any answers given, our decision is final and no discussion will be entered into on this subject.
   4. The correct answers to questions must exactly match our answers to win.
   5. We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call.
   6. You are responsible for all costs of entry.
   7. You may be disqualified if you are incomprehensible, inaudible or if you appear to be driving, intoxicated or likely to offend listeners.
   8. Whilst on-air, you must not make inappropriate or offensive statements.
   9. As far as it is lawful to do so we exclude our liability for any losses suffered in connection with the Competition / the Prize.
   10. We may cancel / amend / end / suspend the Competition if we need to do so due to circumstances outside our control.
