He is an Independent Financial Advisor, he still says that we cannot pay into and cannot move it until we are 55 or if we return to live in the UK. He is confident that there is no UK Pension fund that will open a pension for a people who have not been resident in the UK for more than 5 years. I would happily tell him differently if you could provide any further information on the limited alternatives :-) I will also get on and research to see if I can find.dunstonh said:We have been advised that we cannot move to an alternative policy nor deposit into the policy, so I do feel "stuck with it".You cannot deposit into it because the provider says no. However, that doesn't mean you are stuck with it. Choice will be more limited with alternatives but transferring should still be possible. Is your adviser an FA or an IFA? An FA may well be tied to just one company and it could be the adviser is the one that cannot do it. Fit Likeee!:j0
