Changing Old French Francs..?

Is it possible to get Euros for French Francs, in France, if not here?? Anybody out there know the answer.

    Yes, I don't know the full answer offhand, but the basic answer is that you CAN change them until 2007, but only by going to Paris and cashing them in at the head branch of the Banque Nationale de Paris. I found this information by Asking Jeeves, so sure you can re-find it.

    Sadly the almost £200 in FF which I had in a drawer to take to Paris was snaffled by a burglar about 2 weeks ago....
