Barclays Valuation

Does Barclays going for an onsite valuation mean that the application is accepted from credit and financial eligibility point of view and only subject to valuation? Thanks.

Comments

  • On a normal case they instruct valuation on day1.  Only on cases that refer for additional checks do they do the underwriting first prior to valuation.

So, as unhelpful as it is, it could mean anything at this point.  Without knowing the case messages its impossible to say
  • We have just had our offer from Barclays and they carried out credit checks etc before the valuation. From application to offer it was 13 days
  • The valuation was instructed after a week from the application date. However, the valuation will not happen until June first week due to high number of valuations nationwide. No questions or docs requested so far.

I'm in similar situation. Application has been through underwriting and they requested extra documents and info. They have now booked valuation. I was wondering if you've eceived an offer straight after valuation
