Riding to the defence of Alan P (if that helps, not that defence is needed) if I'd not been on here at least weekly for the past few years I'd not have known that was how it was calculated and would have been (though saddened) grateful to know before I put my notice in. Forewarned is forearmed and all that. Looks like more pension and more choices about when to be rid of the mortgage. Might even work out for the best 😉👏I have borrowed from my future self
