Recent experience with Halfiax Mortgage application?

Hi all,
I am in the process of getting a mortgage lender for our first house. My mortgage broker thinks halifax is our best bet. We have had an agreement in principle confirmed just got to do the full application now! My partner has some gambling transactions on his bank statments so worry that they'd hold that against us. We both have excelent credit scores and have never missed any paymetns previously. Does anyone know if Halifax ask for bank statments and if so if they are lenient with some gambling transactions? I need someone to reassure my stress head!
Thanks in advance,

Does your broker know about the gambling transactions? If they do and they've placed you with Halifax then you should be ok. My broker asked to see our bank statements before placing to ensure we had the right lenderStarkstrom said:Hi all,I am in the process of getting a mortgage lender for our first house. Halifax didn't even ask for our bank statements. They just wanted our latest pay slips.1
