How To Get A Hybrid Car On Lease But Run It Through My Business As Commercial Asset

Hi,

Does anybody know how I would go about sourcing a hybrid vehicle of which I can lease but run it through my existing business of 20 years. I currently have a van (commercial basis) but I'm now wanting to go down the car route. Can anybody recommend any car leasing sites? Am I also correct in thinking this impacts the amount of tax you pay?

Have you run any calculations past your Accountant? BIK on hybrid cars can still be quite high, but full EV is very low. Sometimes it works out to have the car as a personal vehicle and then claim mileage. Far too many variables though for any meaningful comment based on the level of information shared in the OP.

Are you operating as a sole trader or through a limited company? We would need more details to help in detail.

In addition to the above will you be using it for personal usage as well as business, how many miles of each (remember commuting is personal mileage).
