Cheap but good quality clothing for men?

I've been told by a few friends that I need to "Get a better sense of style" - I'm therefore looking to expand my wardrobe (my wardrobe that consists of about 3-4 shirts and 2 pairs of jeans, so yeah they aren't wrong!)
I usually get my clothes from Burton Menswear as I've always found them to be good quality and fairly easy on the pocket! I'm just wondering if although cheap and of good quality, are they maybe a little "out of fashion" if you get me? I've been looking at other places this time around, mostly ASOS, House of Fraser, Superdry and River Island. I don't have any experience with these brands so was wondering if anyone that have used them can tell me if they are good quality for the money, and would you consider them to be "fashionable" or should I just stick to my tried and trusted Burton?
Any other places I should consider buying clothes from that are easy on the wallet but good quality and "fashionable" (Please don't recommend George at Asda, I tend to find that they fall apart in 2 days!) - I need places that do a "big and tall" range as I'm a fairly big guy!
Thanks

ASOS is usually fairly good quality but they have a lot of "high fashion" as well as more basic and classic style.
H&M is great, decent enough quality for the price too.
River Island can seem a little pricey but is usually fashionable without being too crazy.
Burton has been bought by Boohoo.com so I expect the quality will suffer.0 -

Husband is hybrid working now, which saves a tonne on suits, even when bought in sales. He's buying formal machine washable trousers from George at ASDA and Matalan.
As a Big Tall hunk, have a look in sales, because it's the average sizes which sell out first.
Husband has used Brown Bag Clothing and Yoox in the past. He likes Polo Ralph Lauren shirts and we scour the internet for sales. Jaeger shirts are good too. Marks and Spencer shirts are expensive for being department store stuff, unless bought in sales or from an outlet. Husband buys Peacocks casual shirts and socks from Primark and Amazon.
