Well done ! We have a joint income of £54000 and I’m a plumbing and heating engineer , good credit , no debts , about £450 in bills between us a month , do you think we would get at least 4.5x ?maximoose94 said:4.75x. I had 2 jobs, partner had 1. We took the max available.0 -
4.17 x earnings of 2 incomes. Didn't take absolute maximum.0

Joint income £67500. We took 2.69 x earnings as we didn't need to take anymore. We have taken it over a shorter term though at 15 years with the aim of clearing the mortgage debt relatively quickly.0

Joint income of 60k and we took 3.4x. Between us there is around £15k outstanding spread across car finance, a loan and a 0% credit card so didn't want to get too high for affordability purposes. Mortgage offer is cheaper than our rent and both of us would happily stay in this house forever!0

4.92x on one salary. In a 78% LTV. I'm a FTB, I had to go a bit above but had a fairly good deposit.0
