Aynsley wild Tudor mantle clock

Hi all
I have a Aynsley wild Tudor mantle clock, it’s of sentimental value only. The quartz movement insert has stopped working, I have searched all the usual online suppliers for a replacement movement but with no luck. I’m not even sure I’m searching for the correct item, the outter casing is 70mm, internal 55mm, depth 18mm. There’s a model on rear ‘M2188’, it takes a single AAA battery. Finally the face is white, Roman numerals, no second hand.

Any information re a replacement would be gratefully received.
Thank you

Have you tried Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=aynsley+replacement+clock+insert+55mm&i=kitchen&ref=nb_sb_noss
and ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2487249.m570.l1313&_nkw=quartz+clock+insert+55mm&_sacat=0
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0 -
Can you take your current movement out? See youtube for help. You then need to buy a new one where the centre shaft is the same, to take the hands you have, or one which comes with hands you like!
