Given the number of paid entries they must get to cover the value of the prizes (they don't get all the costs of a text) and make a profit there are almost certainly callers who make one or more paid entries every day

Does the national lottery offer a free entry route? Nope - & look how many euromillions tickets are sold every week @ £2.50 a go …
Some people will pay to enter every day in the hope they win … especially when they don’t even have to think about it or hand any money over … it’s just a simple text & it’s added to the phone bill …
    Wins - £48k 2019, £5k 2020, £1000 2021, £280 2022 ... £196k to the £1/4 million target ...

"look how many euromillions tickets are sold every week @ £2.50 a go"

Perfect example of how many entrants think - jackpot of say £8,000,000 has exactly the same odds of winning as a jackpot of  £120,000,000 yet the larger jackpot has loads more entrants - £8,000,000 not enough for most people? ITV use the same thinking to attract entrants to their competitions now with many of them combined across shows and having longer entry periods

& don’t forget about them “forgetting” about free entry route entires that were on a separate spreadsheet ….

You only need one entry if it is your lucky day.
  • they mustn't play the ones where they get the amount wrong as we've never had one recently like that.
