first call went to answer phone, 2nd call 5 rings and no answer.

3rd call answered after 1 ring and gave correct answer and won £125,000

A total of £589.000 won this week
That's the first time (that I can recall) since the competitions went network wide that they have had to make more than one phone call for a guaranteed winner draw.

It was mentioned today that tomorrow is the last day for cash register, so either a new daily competition next week or more likely with the bank holiday on Monday a huge cash prize drawn next Friday.
    Well predicated Bridger!

I missed the beginning of the phone 60 times as I do not check the Post, phone & text comps forum but found it when I realised I had not seen a cash register post for quite some time.
I am on Sky Mobile sim only and use Wi-Fi Calling when at home but when I call any of the 9 numbers my screen shows  "Calling..." for 34 seconds followed by "Call Ended", my phone is silent the whole time.
I have tried calling nearly 70 times today and have not received a message stating I have reached my limit so the calls are obviously not connecting.
    Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
To-date on Sky Mobile sim only I have tried calling with:
Wi-Fi calling on and off, I have even tried with Wi-Fi on my phone turned off
I have set my Monthly spend cap to £1, previously it was £0
Mobile Network mode set to 2G, 3G, 3G/2G (auto connect) and 4G/3G/2G (auto connect)
Caller ID and spam protection on and off
    Call waiting on and off
Show your caller ID Network set to default, Never and Always
    Data Saver on and off
    Fixed dialling numbers are disabled

The call is clearly not connecting or being answered.

Yet when I called from the second sim card in my phone, and old O2 Classic PAYG (3p a minute, 2p a text, 1p a MB of 2G/3G/4G data) the call connects, is answered and I can hear the full recorded message.

I have even tried swapping the sim cards moving the card in slot 1 to slot 2 and visa versa

So the issue is either the Sky sim card or Sky and not my phone/settings.
It's definitely not Sky in general as there are others of us using Sky with no issues. I would suggest contacting sky for a replacement SIM card and see if that makes any difference.
Finally discovered that the issue is the Monthly Spend Cap, when the spend cap is set to anything and even though the calls are free it will not connect.
I turned off the Monthly Spend Cap et voila the calls connect and I can hear the message  :D
Thanks to everyone who made suggestions while trying to figure this out  o:)

I seem to remember there was a discussion on here recently about using 2 sim cards in the same phone to speed up the process of making multiple calls.
Just a warning for anyone who does that, they might now want to reconsider as the T&Cs for phone entry now say...
The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that permits any person to enter any Competition repeatedly, or make multiple simultaneous entries, is prohibited.

Do we think that includes call waiting? On an iphone you can make a call, put it on hold, and call a new number. That way you have two entries shortly after each other. If so, ruh-roh 😬

Thank you MSErs, you've changed my life.

For this week at least, the only one running at the moment is a competition for £250,000.

It never completely ends  :D It's been going for years and must be a serious cash generator for Bauer.

It will be back either next week or in a few months time. If the latter Make Me A Winner will probably take its place.
