Has anyone ever sought clarification over the apparent contradiction in Bauer phone comp rules over having to appear on air?Clause 5 says "The entrant selected may be required to talk to the presenter / programming team, and the call may be recorded and played on-air."Yet clause 11 says "We will sometimes (at our discretion) telephone entrants and ask them to speak on-air. They have the right to refuse. If they consent, their voice will be recorded and they consent to this recording being used on our radio broadcasts."I've always assumed they would say, 'Yeah you can refuse to go on air, and we'll pick someone else to win'!For £60k, I would of course reluctantly make my broadcast debut, but I wonder if they have named any recent winners without airing their OMG moment?0

I was reading a blog a while ago and an ex radio presenter was saying for comps they used to ring first person out of draw and if they did not sound like they would be a good winning call, they did not tell them they were a winner and just moved onto next person they drew from the entries.1
