Kensington mortgages

Following an adverse credit and Charing with number of different mortgage brokers we decided to bite the bullet and look into mortgage with Kensington. Our mortgage broker explained everything clearly and did not make any promises however advised that we have great chances seeing that we are looking LTV75% and both have steady jobs and affordability matched.
We got DIP 12/4/2021 offer accepted on the property 13/4/21 Full application submitted 19/4/21, since then we submitted proof of deposits and responded to few queries, three months mortgage payments are requested which we will have from our own savings 30/5/21. Three different solicitors companies were declined due to having to have minimum of 3 partners and 4th company is now sent. Hopefully it will be approved.
Mortgage broker advised that valuation instructed however date is not given as yet. We are due to start paying for surveys etc and we don’t have a full application approved and offer. Anyone in similar situation? We are in NI and not sure how valuation will take place since KM is England based company hoping for no hiccups here as really like the property and do not want vendor to get a cold feet and go back on market.
All in all it’s only need 5-6 weeks and realistically this is normal timescales so fingers crossed we will hear good news soon.

We’re having our valuation on Thursday, we submitted all documents and had no questions back. Application went in about 3 weeks ago so they’ve had time to question us.

Really hoping after the valuation we get an offer, it’s so nerve racking!

If anyone has any advice for both of us of valuation to offer I know I would appreciate it.

    Best of luck x

    Hi Emily

same has happened to us we’ve had no questions and they’ve instructed for the valuation to be done. What happened after yours?

    Thanks
