Grants for dental treatment

To cut a long story short my partner is disabled and has severe MH issues and she needs dental treatment that cannot be had on the NHS, hopefully this will alleviate some of her issues, even though i have found a training clinic to provide the treatment at nearly half the cost of our own dentist it's still way out of our financial reach.
It was suggested to us to apply for grants and funding which i have done via previous employmeny industry grants where they have helped reduce our arrears on stuff but not towards the cost of the treatment, does anyone know of or has experience of sourcing funding for this kind of thing?

There was an item on the news today about dentists offering free treatment to women who had suffered violence of some sort.  Don't know if they would be prepared to help with someone with MH issues but might be worth a try.  I can't remember the name of the organisation but I think it was on BBC, if not it was Sky.

It was on TV, I tend to watch the breakfast news on BBC or Sky so it will be one of those. Good luck.

I think you are referring to the story about a domestic abuse charity paying for people who have tooth damage due to DV to get dental treatment

Yes, as I said in my first post  "There was an item on the news today about dentists offering free treatment to women who had suffered violence of some sort.  Don't know if they would be prepared to help with someone with MH issues but might be worth a try.  I can't remember the name of the organisation but I think it was on BBC, if not it was Sky."

Article is pretty clear that they are funding dental repair for those who have suffered violence and not in general for those who can't afford it.
The very nature of the charity indicates their specific area of interest, they are not a general charity.

Wouldn't MIND be a better option to approach? They are more likely to know if there is any charitable option for dental treatment of those with MH problems.
