Had a free eye test at Boots today. I was given a prescription but it was missing the Cylinder and Axis readings on my left eye. Do they do this on purpose to stop you buying glasses elsewhere?

Those are for astigmatism. If they're blank then you have no astigmatism in that eye.Dunnsdale said:Had a free eye test at Boots today. I was given a prescription but it was missing the Cylinder and Axis readings on my left eye. Do they do this on purpose to stop you buying glasses elsewhere?1 -
Thanks for clearing that up for me. I was confused because my last prescription values for my left eye were - 0.25 and +0.50 respectively. I guess it must have corrected. It was 3 yrs ago.0
