Customs duty
Hi hope someone can help.
I arranged for DPD to collect some personal belongings (clothes) from the UK and deliver to my son in Germany. They quoted a price to deliver, however my son has just had an email from DPD in Holland advising €40 tax is due before they will deliver. Is this a scam? If not are these companies exploiting Brexit? DPD confirmed before I sent the parcel that no customs duty would have to be paid.

Anyone else had similar issues?
