Sorting competitions by end date no longer available

Until recently I have had no problem in sorting competition threads by end date.  However, now all that seems to be shown is either game over or even competitions finishing in 2010.  I am unable to find the original instructions on how to set this up again and wonder if somebody would be kind enough to point me in the right direction

You say "Sorting" but I suspect you really mean "Searching". These are two different functions.
The Search facility has not really been usable for 3 weeks or more and searching by end date never has been particularly good due to the many variations of format that are being used by posters.
The Sort facility is, currently, a much better way of finding comps ending on any particular day.
