Halifax mortgage and bank statement request HELP!!

Unless you are with Haoifax due to limited criteria or something then dont get disheartened.  There are plenty lenders at 95% now and even some small building societies who dont credit score. 
Even experienced brokers are sometimes playing a guessing game when trying to place 95% cases.   Good cases get thrown out for no reason and just move on to the next. 
Big benefit is that most lenders do soft credit checks so the impact to you is minimal but just means a bit more worl for your broker.  
One thing i might say though is if it took a week to get you a decision with halifax then you might want to hurry them along somehow for the next attempt.   It should only take about 15 minutes to key a halifax dip request
