Retro rhyme ?

Hi all, just need an opinion on something please. I have made my nephew a retro sweet box, after reading about them on here, and a small retro hamper but im not sure the rhyme I wrote to go with it sounds ok, please tell me what you think.-
Some sweeties to remind you of how things used to be,
When you were just a little boy upon your mothers knee,
Also some toys and goodies to remind you of the past,
Cos you and others like you grow up so very fast,
So eat them and enjoy them,
And play with them as well,
And if you really liked them,
Please be sure to tell.
What do you think? Thanks in advance.
