Introducing myself

Hi, forumites. I'm new here (kind of - I used to be an MSE'r under another username, but never came on this board) and wanted to introduce myself - I hope that's OK. I have just started my debt-free journey with a conversation with a Citizens Advice advisor yesterday, and am currently feeling totally overwhelmed by it all: I didn't think things were very serious until the advisor started talking about county court judgements and IVAs.
In my defense, I have (and have had for some years) serious mental health issues, complicated by losing my little sister to Covid earlier this year. Trying to get myself out of debt is massively intimidating, and I hope the MSE forums boards will help. As someone who hasn't been on here in years, what other boards do you think will be helpful to me?
Thanks for reading, and I look forward to getting to know everyone.

Hi
I'm a Cit A debt adviser.
It's to do with 'compliance' that we have to give you a lecture on the whole spectrum of debt advice when you phone. It's very annoying to us and we know it can come across as more scary than it should do.
If you've got debt issues then this is the right board to start with, and we can refer you elsewhere depending on what the issues are.
A good starting point is to put together a statement of affairs.
That is a link to a calculator. If you can format for mse, then cut and paste it into this thread, the usual guys will be along with helpful comments2 -
Thank you - I'll get that filled in and posted in the next day or so: not today because I hurt myself in a fall a couple of days ago (due to dizziness from an ear infection) and after half an hour of doing surveys on my kindle I'm starting to ache so I think it's time to turn it off for a bit!0
