Hi all, 
Its been well over a year since i used the competition time forum, and for the life of me i cannot work out how to search through the competitions anymore!
I tried adding 'garden' search in the competition time forum but it just seems to bring all garden comments from every single forum up and not the actual competitions. 
I'm sure it used to just search through the garden comps last time i used it ?

If you search using the main long search box, it will bring up everything in the whole forum.
If you go to the section you want to search in, then select the small purple magnifying glass, near the top but mainly to the right, then that will search in that category.

Unfortunately the search isn't great at the moment, I used to search the competition link and it would only bring up the competitions from that link, but so many other posts come up now. I haven't managed to get the date part to work either, if I select posted within 1 week, it still brings up every competition. It is also very temperamental.

There are currently a lot of problems with search which MSE say they are working on.

I find the best way to use search at the moment is to use this link https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/search?adv=1&search=nikwax&title=&author=&cat=72&subcats=1&tags=&discussion_discussion=1&comment_comment=1&discussion_poll=1&within=2+months&date=today,
Change the word in the first parameter box to a fairly unique word that must be in the title or text of the results you are looking for but be aware that search does not currently seem to be including parts of url's.
If this produces too many results, you can reduce the period in the "date within" parameter to 1 month.
As the results are not currently in any particular order you will need to look through all of the results of each search.
Also note that this search will include the Competitions Time board and all of the sub-boards, i.e. Game Over, I Won I Won I Won etc. Trying to exclude sub categories does not work.

Me too. I've been on here for a while but can't find my way around looking for Love it fuzzy celebs but nothing comes up.

Use the link I posted 3 posts above. Amend the word in the first parameter to "fuzzy celeb" (including the quotes), click Search.
The current comp is the 5th result down.
