    I'm a wee bit confused.
Is it a refund of the money you are asking for or are you looking to use the voucher to buy a bike?
Have you tried phoning them directly or just gone through your (old) HR department?
Was it really "everybody" that was Kung Fu fighting ???

If they've refused the refund, have they said anything about re-issuing the voucher? You might be able to at least buy something and sell it on again to cut your losses.

They really shouldn't be allowing people to sign up to these things in a probationary period because as you discovered, you need to clear the balance if your employment ends within the rental period.
