Battery lawnmowers

I bought a cheap one from Aldi: the 2 batteries I bought I use with other tools in the range. Probably wouldn't do some of you but for my terrace house garden it does fine. It's also handy to take down the allotment to do the edges and paths.

I don't think I'm ready to make the switch to EV for my lawn mower. They are smooth, quiet and green but I'm worried about them running out, charging takes too long and the decent ones are very expensive. And don't the batteries degrade over time? Maybe in a few years.1
