Ever since we were allowed to change suppliers I have done so. Sadly, a number have gone under and clearly they have overstretched themselves. My latest failure was Yorkshire last December and I was dumped with Scottish Power on a exclusive tariff. This tariff ,overall, is quite good and it is hard for anyone to beat it as the gas is 2.645p per Kwhr. and I use 15,500 a year. The full price Elec is an eye-watering 19.772p but Economy 7 is a bargain at 7.881p. They have cunningly made it so difficult for me to find a better deal. I have looked at some of the smaller ones but the feedback is terrible and do not want that hassle.
  • Our contract with E.on was about to end on the 17 May, but we moved on 17 April. New place is on SSE for G & E. I phoned them up about a week after moving in and registered with them. Hung up the phone and started a switch to Avro which should be completed by 24 May.

Meanwhile EDF (previous tenants supplier?) continually send us bills for "The Owner/ Occupier" from "2 Feb '20 until 8 Mar '20" at a very expensive rate. I've phoned, returned letters etc. etc.. Now I just bin the letters.
I'm writing a book on plagiarism. It wasn't my idea.
