Looking for a 90% LTV mortgage, looking at a house priced around £300k with a £30k deposit (in about 3 months) and a salary of £62k, 4 satisfied defaults all but one (£173) registered over 3 years ago, Pondering my chances of getting a mortgage in the next 4-6 months, have read it doesn't mean much with mortgages but have got my experian score up to 799 from way down in the low 400's, now am completely debt free with £0 balance on credit card taken out to help with the credit score, anyone have any idea of the likelihood of getting an offer?

@natelad Based on the limited info in your post, there's nothing that suggests you will not be able to get a mortgage, perhaps not at mainstream rates, but that will depend on the details. When it's time for you to start viewing, I would recommend getting in touch with a broker to get a realistic idea of your chances and budget.

Thanks @K_S I know it was a bit of a vague post but am all a bit new to this and didn't want to waffle on with the full life history and what I had for breakfast etc, just seems to be a lot of people in the know on here and wanted to dip my toe in the water to see if someone had any thoughts, will certainly speak to a mortgage advisor when the time comes, they should know if and where to place me I assume.0
