Sainsbury nectar points

Have done 3 shops at Sainsbury’s over last few weeks and used £25 worth of nectar points to bring my shopping down 

Upon looking at my shopping receipt , I cannot see where this weeks points have gone, checked points before shopping

To pay £75.15

Nectar redemption £25

Balance £50.15

On summary 

Points earned on £0.00    (Should this be £75 15)

Previous points balance 16201

Points spent  5000

New points balance 11201

I cannot see where the points earned on this weeks shopping trip have gone?

You don't earn points on a transaction in which you redeem points - it's in the T&Cs.

Very annoying in cases like this, I agree - IMO you should have earned points on £50.15 as you've actually had to pay that, so no different from any other transaction.

When I've redeemed Nectar points in the past I've still been awarded points on the total spend less the redemption value.  In this case it would have been 50 points on the £50.15.  Have the T&Cs been amended in the last couple of months?
