Would love a mortgage have a ccj

Hi I have a ccj just gone over 2 years old. It is paid off and was for £700 for a water bill. I have cleared my debts apart from £1000 on a credit card and student finance but am only paying that off at £20 a month.
I would love to get a mortgage I have been looking at properties at the 60-70k mark and have managed to save a 5% deposit. I earn 19k a year.
I am desperate to move as my rent is £800 a month I don’t care about interest rates of the mortgage as it will be cheaper than my rent. Do I have any hope of getting a mortgage?

  • If you haven't already you should join the Facebook group UK mortgage advice, there are loads of adverse credit brokers on there who will definitely be able to discuss your options. I found a broker myself on there who does a lot of adverse, my case wasn't adverse but more my personal situation that was complicated. People post daily regarding ccj's and defaults and tons of brokers reach out.
