In partnership with Virgin Radio, Sky VIP are helping Sky customers give back to key workers and local heroes who have gone above and beyond to support their community during the pandemic.

It’s been a year of heroics from everyday people and key workers in our communities. Individuals who have sacrificed their time and their safety to help those around them through some of the hardest moments of the pandemic.

To celebrate these efforts and the new Sky Original ‘Bloods’ coming this week, which follows a pair of paramedics through the life-saving world of a south London emergency service, Sky VIP are giving you the chance to nominate an NHS or community hero that you think deserves to win a bundle of prizes.

Between Monday 3rd May and Thursday 6th May, Chris Evans and his team will be reading out various entries and nominating the 15 that stand out most to them. Those nominees will go into a raffle during The Chris Evans Breakfast Show with Sky on Friday 7th May with the winner to receive the main prize and the 14 runners up to receive prizes as well.

Considering the incredible efforts these individuals have gone to, Virgin Radio and Sky thought the prizes needed to be something pretty special. So here’s what on offer…

The Prize will be subject to the Prize Conditions (as defined below) 

The following terms shall apply to the Prize (the “Prize Conditions”):
a) The winner will be required to enter into a new Sky Q TV subscription contract. If the winner is an existing Sky TV customer, your existing Sky TV subscriptions will come to an end and you must enter into a new Sky Q TV subscription contract. 
b) After your 12 month free Sky Q TV subscription comes to an end, standard subscription length (18 months) and prices at the time of re-contracting will apply, unless you change or cancel your package, giving Sky at least 31 days’ notice. Standard subscription prices may change. Please refer to www.sky.comfor current pricing. You must be over 18 and resident in the United Kingdom. 
c) The Prize does not include:
A broadband subscription (to experience Sky Q features to the full, we recommend connecting your boxes to home broadband);  
Sky Box Office, Sky Store purchases/rentals, Stand-alone Premium Channels, or pay-per-view services and events 
d) Watching on an extra TV screen comes at a one-off cost of £99 and Sky will loan you an extra Sky Q Mini at no cost (recommend connecting no more than 4 Sky Q Minis in total)
e) Prices, programmes/channels are subject to change.  
f) Engineer set-up required.
g) The winner must get any consents required (e.g. landlord’s) prior to installation. 
h) Winners must redeem the prize within a year. Winners who are in a current pay-TV contract with another provider may defer their Prize for a maximum of 12 months from the date of winning.  If a winner does not redeem his/her Prize within 12 months from the date of winning, this could result in loss of the Prize.  If the winner has a previous uncleared debt with Sky the winner will not be able to take up the Prize until this debt has been fully cleared.   
i) There is no cash alternative to the Prize or any element thereof and unless agreed otherwise in writing the Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable.
j) Sky reserves the right to refuse or withdraw the Prize if a winner or a party authorised by the winner to act on their behalf, threatens or abuses a Staff employee or otherwise conducts themselves in a manner that Sky reasonably regards as inappropriate, offensive or unlawful.
k) Prize winner will own the Sky dish. The Sky Q box, the Sky Q Mini and all other Sky Q kit is loaned to the winner at no cost and must be returned when the winner’s 12 month prize subscription terminates or when the winner leaves Sky, whichever is earlier. Mechanical faults with the Sky Q kit will be repaired at no cost.
l) Sky Q installations currently average a 28 day waiting period (Covid 19 safety requirements and guidelines allowing)

Additional Prize Terms
a) The prize provider will endeavour to deliver the tech items, cashmere throw and Cowshed sets within 28 days of the winner confirming their details with the prize provider.

b) Prize delivery is subject to delays.
c) If the prize or any element of it, is cancelled, changed postponed or relocated, the prize provider may give you a similar prize instead. They will not offer any compensation, financial or otherwise.
d) Sky Mobile Data Plan and Samsung Galaxy S21 phone: Due to Sky Mobile restrictions in the UK, winners in the Republic of Ireland will receive a cash equivalent of the data package up to the value of £120 only. This prize is for subject to a SIM contract with Sky Mobile providing a plan with any data allowance from Sky Mobile, and unlimited calls and text messages with a 12 months free period. Any services used outside of these allowances will be chargeable. A credit or debit card may be required in order to sign up to a contract and contract-award is subject to satisfactory credit/security checks. The contract (i) must be in winner’s name, (ii) may be cancelled by notice at the end of the 12 months free period by giving 31 days’ notice to Sky Mobile, but if not cancelled the plan will continue and the winner will be charged the full monthly price for the plan until terminated on 31 days’ notice (current pricing should be checked at sky.com/shop/mobile), (iii) cannot be altered by the winner once the order has been accepted or at any time during the first 12 months, without losing all free allowances for the plan and the phone for that period, (iv) excludes Sky Mobile’s phone/tablet upgrade service advertised as “Swap”, and (v) can be altered by Sky Mobile at any time if providing allowances which are no less favourable. Once the order is accepted, the Phone cannot be returned or exchanged any time. Winner will be provided with a voucher and will be responsible for booking their own trip. Experience is available Monday to Friday throughout the year. Exclusions may apply. All bookings are subject to availability. Chesford Grange location has no Sauna. The voucher has a 12-month redemption period.
