Amazon Returns

I purchased an item from Amazon, it hasn’t arrived yet.  Since then I’ve discovered a better item at a lower price.  What’s the best way to return to Amazon, tell the delivery driver I don’t want the item or return after delivery

    Not an expert but I'd go by the value of the item, things have been known to go astray by handing back to driver.
    Mobile phone? Be very cautious, pack of bin liners? No problem

    I've always returned them myself.  Not sure I'd trust a driver to return them.  It's easy enough to do.

    You just refuse delivery  wait while they fill in what they need to and tgats it. I've never had a problem 
    make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
    and we will never, ever return.

    Well I missed the delivery, they left it where I asked. Seems that all I need to do is deliver it to a UPS centre with a bar code they sent and that’s it.
