fuel costs-what counts as business mileage

I am full time employed but just started some self employed work at a private premises.
I have to travel from my permanent NHS place of work directly to my self employed work location.
I know you can't claim fuel expenses on commuting from home to work but can I claim for miles between 'permanent employed place of work' and 'self employed place of work'?
Thanks

Is your self employment all carried out at one location that is not your home? If so, the answer is definitely no. If your self employment base is really your home, the answer is more complicated.1
