Perfectly normal. It would be very odd if you weren't anxious about venturing back into the world of work. Most people are, especially if they've had a break (even going back after a couple of weeks on holiday can feel daunting to some).AmberMija said:hi im 28yrs old and from 2015 - 2018 i was medically disqualfied for working due to ADHD/Depression among other mental illnesses, in 2019 i felt good enough and able to look for work but nothing has come of it, in 2020 ive done alot of Volunteering, but now im terribly scared of getting a job not becasuse im lazy or anything, i really want something real bad, im just so scared of not being good at something (im currently looking at Retail/Customer Service) which ive got a little bit of expierence in, are my scary thoughts normal, is it just anxiety, any advice i would aprecieate, thanks in advance ( sorry for the essay)
You may not get everything right first time, but few of us do, so keep job hunting and don't worry if you aren't brilliant from the first day at whatever job you get. As your confidence builds (hopefully with on the job training), things will get better.
Very good luck.Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!1
