New broadband provider

Hi all. I’m due to be discharged next week and also my contract is up with my broadband provider. I would like to find another supplier as not overly happy with current (post office)

Are some more bankrupt friendly than others? Also will it be better to wait for discharge or will it not matter as only a few days more?

Thanks

I don’t know, but i can imagine broadband suppliers are much like mobile phone suppliers in that they will give a contract to pretty much anyone, not matter what their credit record.

Hi, I was in exactly the same position as you.  I used a comparison site and Vodafone Broadband were the most competitive.  I proceeded with the switch and they declined leaving a hard search on my Credit File.  After some detective work I ended up going with Plusnet (who were just as competitive) and they accepted me straight away.  They've been great so can highly recommend them.

I am with EE and I have been pleased with their service. They often have good deals for new customers but they aren't always the cheapest so it is definitely doing search on a comparison site. I have found they are the most reliable connection wise! I would wait until the contract is up before switching to avoid paying any extra fee.

Thanks everyone, I’ve gone with plusnet and seem to have been accepted and given a switch date same as when my contract ends. Thanks for the advice
