child maintenance

Hi I'm currently thinking of going bankrupt but I am looking at expenses and my out goings are higher than my income.
I pay out in child maintenance £510 per month ( 4 kids ) but I also give them pocket money and pay towards hobbies ect, just wondering if this was allowed and also what would be a realistic figure to put in for groceries, holidays and birthdays ect.

Then your bigger problem is how you manage post-bankruptcy.  You will need to adjust your spending so that you live within your means.

with covid the overtime at work is minimal.
we have lots of orders at work which won't start till next year so I know my wages will be more.
I was coping with this when I was living with my ex partner so our wages were more so wasn't an issue but when we split it has now fallen on just me and thats why it's spiralling out of control
