Hi does anyone know if it is normal for The sun to request bank account details for their competition wins, and if it is safe to send them please?

The Sun usually give away cash and transfer straight into your bank account.
As long as it is just your account number and sort code, then that should be fine.
Never give your long number or 3 digit code on the back.

I won with The Sun and yes they need bank details as they pay via BACS.

Yes, I have won a cash prize from the Sun before. I had to provide my bank details so that it could be transferred.
