Yep go into Boots the chemist and they will have bottles of aftershave with Tester written on it....................completley free to try.:rolleyes:

Head to any large dept store which has loads of Perfumes/aftershave for sale - inc Boots, Debenhams etc.
In the first instance they will offer to spray your wrist or a strip of card from a 'Tester', but.....
They do have the small phials of samples hidden out of sight. The trick is trying to prise them from the sas.
Anyway, I recently went into my local Boots, and was genuinely asking about aftershave to buy as a present - I did get the squirt on the wrist. but as I explained to sa - I wanted my son to try it himself, since he was the one who asked for "something new" for Xmas.
She then dug down in the cupboard and handed over the one I had specifically asked about, plus half a dozen others saying he could try these, and this one was nice....., and this one was selling really well.....:D
In the past I have taken printouts ( from the freebie thread) for various free samples, which once you get the sa rooting around in their cupboard, they will often hand over a few more.
All depends on the day and the sa. Some will claim they have none, others ( esp if they think it may lead to a genuine sale) will hand them over if asked politely.
I don't know if any perfume counter staff can comment on who they are supposed to 'give' them out to ?, or how they are told to deal with being directly asked by customers ?

Do check out the Freebies threads as well - pot luck with the ones sent to you in the post - some are the little phials, but often just a post card with a 'scented' plaster thing.
Best ones are the ones where you print out a voucher and take it yourself to relevant counter to collect in person.

There are a few postings on here about aftershave samples. The best one that I got for my chap was from Prada because they sent a tiny little bottle others only send a tiny face wipe.

Hi if you have a local avon rep they have little samples to give out.With my last order she placed a sample of the new perfume and aftershave in with my order.
